Sustainable Hunting for Future Generations
Our approach balances the needs of people, wildlife, and habitats. By advocating for responsible hunting practices, we ensure that natural populations thrive, while communities continue to benefit from cultural traditions that respect the environment.
Together for Conservation
We invite hunters, conservationists, and nature lovers to stand united. By working together, we can protect fragile habitats, restore ecosystems, and foster an enduring respect for wildlife across Europe and beyond.

ABOUT US
Our Global Partnerships
Friends of European Hunting and Conservation was founded to bridge the gap between traditional hunting values and modern conservation needs. We are an international network of conservationists, hunters, and nature advocates committed to creating a sustainable future.
Our Guiding Values
We believe conservation must be collaborative. That’s why we work with local communities, scientific researchers, and policy makers to ensure our efforts are both impactful and inclusive.
Why It Matters
Our heritage depends on balance. Without active stewardship, wildlife faces mounting threats from climate change, habitat loss, and poaching. We stand as guardians of both nature and tradition, ensuring neither is lost.
OUR MISSION
Sustainability at the Core
Our mission is clear: to promote sustainable hunting practices that contribute positively to wildlife populations. We emphasize ethical, regulated, and conservation-driven hunting as a tool for ecological balance.
Conservation Through Action
We don’t just speak about conservation—we actively invest in projects that restore habitats, protect endangered species, and create awareness across Europe and beyond. Our initiatives range from habitat restoration in critical migration corridors to the establishment of conservation programs that monitor endangered wildlife species. Each project is carefully designed to balance scientific expertise with community knowledge, ensuring that outcomes benefit both people and nature.
Our team works tirelessly on the ground, collaborating with organizations and local stakeholders to make real, measurable change. From planting native vegetation to reducing human-wildlife conflict, we translate conservation ideals into practical, hands-on results. Conservation is not a one-time action—it is a continuous commitment, and our work reflects this ongoing responsibility.

Future Generations First
Everything we do is guided by one principle: leaving behind a thriving natural world for our children. We envision a future where children grow up with access to clean air, thriving forests, and abundant wildlife, where the next generation not only learns about nature but experiences it firsthand. To achieve this vision, we invest in youth education, outdoor learning opportunities, and conservation awareness campaigns that inspire younger generations to take ownership of their environment.
Through strong partnerships with schools, conservation groups, and local governments, we ensure that the next generation inherits not just traditions, but also responsibility. We believe that instilling a sense of stewardship early in life creates citizens who will champion conservation long into the future. By blending cultural heritage with ecological awareness, we prepare future leaders who value both tradition and sustainability.
OUR TEAM
Passion Meets Expertise
Our team consists of experienced conservationists, biologists, hunters, and educators who share a common goal: to unite tradition with science for lasting environmental impact. This is why our projects always prioritize local involvement, empowering communities to take ownership of the outcomes. Whether it’s restoring a forest in Eastern Europe, protecting wetlands in the Mediterranean, or supporting sustainable hunting regulations in rural areas, our team ensures that projects are tailored to the unique needs of each environment.

United in Purpose
Behind every project we lead, there is a strong sense of unity that keeps us moving forward. While our team is diverse in background and expertise, we share one purpose: ensuring that Europe’s wildlife and ecosystems are preserved for generations to come. This shared vision allows us to overcome challenges and find solutions even in the most complex conservation scenarios.
Our unity also extends beyond our internal team—it includes our volunteers, partners, and supporters who believe in the same mission. We see ourselves as part of a larger family of conservation advocates, each contributing their part to a global effort. By working in harmony, we amplify our collective voice and create change that resonates across communities and ecosystems. United, we are not just a team—we are a movement dedicated to protecting the future of our natural world.
Driven by Commitment
What binds us is not only our expertise but our passion for preserving nature. Each member brings unique skills, but together we are stronger in our pursuit of conservation excellence. Our team includes biologists, conservationists, ethical hunters, and educators who all share one unifying belief: that conservation is a responsibility, not an option.
Beyond technical expertise, our strength lies in our unwavering dedication. We recognize that conservation is a long-term endeavor—it requires patience, resilience, and a deep connection to the natural world. Every success, no matter how small, fuels our determination to continue. From tracking endangered species in the wild to advocating for policy changes in European councils, our team shows up every day with passion and purpose. Together, we embody the values we seek to promote: integrity, sustainability, and an unbreakable commitment to nature.

OUR WORK
Protecting Wildlife Populations
We develop initiatives to restore habitats, safeguard migratory corridors, and ensure hunting practices are conducted in ways that benefit ecosystems. Protecting wildlife means more than preventing species decline—it requires a holistic approach that addresses habitat loss, climate change, and human-wildlife conflict. At FEHC, we work with ecologists, hunters, and landowners to ensure that every conservation action has a measurable, positive impact on biodiversity.Through coordinated cross-border projects, we help secure safe passage for these species, ensuring their survival across generations. Our efforts also extend to supporting threatened species, where we work to restore population balance by reducing illegal poaching and ensuring natural ecosystems have the resources they need to thrive.
Promoting Ethical Hunting
We advocate for ethical hunting as a conservation tool, educating hunters and policymakers on how regulated practices can aid wildlife management. Hunting, when conducted responsibly, can contribute significantly to ecosystem stability. By controlling overpopulation of certain species, maintaining ecological balance, and generating funds for conservation projects, hunting becomes more than a pastime—it becomes an important form of stewardship.
Our work involves creating educational campaigns that highlight the role of ethical hunting in conservation. We train hunters in sustainable practices, share data with policymakers to improve wildlife laws, and encourage transparency in the management of hunting resources. This ensures that hunting does not exploit nature but instead contributes to protecting it.
OUR VOLUNTEER
Be Part of the Change
Volunteers are the heart of FEHC. By joining us, you become part of a movement that ensures wildlife and traditions are safeguarded. Our volunteers are not just helpers—they are partners in our mission, playing a direct role in shaping the future of conservation across Europe. From young students eager to learn about sustainability to seasoned professionals who want to give back, every volunteer brings unique value and energy to our work.
Hands-On Conservation
Our volunteers engage in habitat restoration, community education, and wildlife monitoring, making tangible contributions to conservation success. Many of our projects rely on hands-on work, where volunteers play a vital role in ensuring progress is visible and measurable. You might find yourself clearing invasive plant species from a reserve, monitoring bird migration patterns, or working alongside scientists in wildlife data collection.
But volunteering isn’t just about fieldwork—it also includes awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and community events where volunteers help spread our message of sustainable conservation. These opportunities allow people of all backgrounds and skill levels to find meaningful ways to contribute. By being directly involved, volunteers gain an insider’s view of conservation challenges while also seeing firsthand how their efforts make a difference.
We believe this type of involvement not only benefits nature but also strengthens the individual. Every task completed is a small victory in the larger mission of protecting Europe’s ecosystems.
Grow, Learn, Connect
Beyond helping nature, volunteering with us fosters personal growth, new skills, and meaningful connections with like-minded individuals worldwide. Many of our volunteers come away with a deeper understanding of the environment, valuable conservation knowledge, and skills that benefit them long after their time with us. Whether it’s teamwork, leadership, field research, or communication, volunteering provides growth opportunities at every stage.
Just as important are the connections formed. Our volunteer programs bring together people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds who share a common love for nature. These friendships and networks often continue beyond the project itself, creating a supportive global community of conservation advocates.
Volunteering with FEHC is not a one-way street—it is a partnership where both nature and people benefit. By joining us, you invest in your own journey as much as you contribute to the protection of wildlife and traditions.
TESTIMONIALS
Voices That Inspire
At FEHC, we believe the most powerful measure of our work lies in the voices of those who join us on this journey. Our volunteers, supporters, and partners each carry a unique perspective, and their stories reflect the heart of what we stand for—collaboration, education, and stewardship. From students discovering conservation for the first time to lifelong professionals continuing their passion for protecting nature, these testimonials remind us why our mission matters. Every voice is proof that when people come together for wildlife, the results are not only meaningful but lasting.

“Volunteering with FEHC completely changed the way I see conservation. Before, I thought of hunting and wildlife protection as two very different things, but working alongside the team showed me how they can coexist in a way that benefits both people and nature. I joined a habitat restoration project in Hungary, and I can honestly say it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I left not only with new friends but also with a renewed respect for the balance between tradition and sustainability.”

Anna Müller
Teacher, Germany

“As a photographer, I have spent years capturing the beauty of Europe’s wildlife, but I often felt powerless when it came to protecting what I was documenting. FEHC gave me that opportunity. I joined their efforts in monitoring migratory bird populations, and I realized that my images could do more than inspire—they could educate. The organization’s combination of science, tradition, and community involvement is unlike anything I have seen before. I now feel like I am not just documenting change but actively contributing to it.”

Jonas Scott

“I joined FEHC as a volunteer because I wanted to learn more about conservation for my studies, but what I gained went far beyond academics. I worked on a community outreach program that taught schoolchildren about sustainable hunting and wildlife protection. Seeing their curiosity and excitement gave me hope for the future. I also learned practical skills like project planning and field data collection, which will help me in my career. But most importantly, I felt part of a global family working together to protect nature.”

Sofia Rossi

“After retiring from my career as a forest ranger, I wanted to continue contributing to conservation in a meaningful way. Joining FEHC was exactly what I was looking for. I participated in a project in Eastern Europe, where we worked on restoring migratory corridors for large mammals. The dedication of the team, the passion of the volunteers, and the involvement of local communities deeply impressed me. It reminded me that conservation is not just a duty—it is a privilege. FEHC gave me a new purpose after retirement, and I couldn’t be more grateful.”
